Substance use assessments & treatment
Support with alcohol or drug use, starting where you are.
Whether you've been thinking about change for a while or something recent has you looking for help, a conversation with our team can help you understand your options.

Beginning with an assessment
A substance-use assessment, sometimes called an evaluation, is a structured conversation about your use of alcohol or other drugs, how it's affecting your life, and what you'd like to change. It helps you and our team understand what kind of support may fit.
Some people seek an assessment on their own. Others need one for a court, employer, or another requirement. Either way, you're welcome to ask questions before you begin.
Treatment options at Openings
Outpatient treatment
Outpatient treatment involves scheduled counseling sessions — individual, group, or both — while you continue with work, family, and daily life.
Intensive outpatient treatment
Intensive outpatient care generally involves more frequent sessions each week than standard outpatient treatment, while you still live at home. Our team can explain how it works here and whether it may be a fit.

Questions you can ask our team
- What happens during an assessment, and how long does it take?
- What's the difference between outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment?
- Can my family be involved?
- How does scheduling work around my job or other commitments?
- What does it cost, and what payment options are there?
